Ashley's birthday was yesterday and her biggest wish came true. She got a hamster--a white dwarf hamster to be exact. She would also want you to know that it is a boy hamster that lives in a pink cage. The hamster's name, you may be wondering: Fluffy but he also has aliases of Fluff, the Flufster, Fluff-Fluff, and Joe's every popular--the rat in a box. The last one, amazingly, has caught on. Ashley called him the rat in a ball (he was running around the house in his ball) this afternoon. Here's his first photo op...

He's very cute. I had a hamster in high school named Delancey and Alex had several hamsters all named Binkie (who knows with that Kid, really) and I have to say that Binkie was more popular and friendly than Delancey. But Fluff looks exactly like Binkie, so I'd say his chances of success are high.
I hope he doesn't get loose in your house.
I'm actually taking bets on how long it takes The Fluffmeister to get loose. :)
