Happy New Year! and.....

a belated Merry Christmas!  We have had a rather whirlwind of a Christmas vacation.  We celebrated Christmas at home with just the six of us.  Then we traveled to Indiana to celebrate Christ's birth with my family.  We were super blessed to be able to be with my parents and my sister's family.  We hadn't all been together for two years.  Then we dropped Ashley off with the Horn grandparents and the rest of us traveled back to Illinois for a New Year's celebration.  Joe and I have been leading the youth group for the last several months as we search for a new associate pastor.   Someone had a bright idea to have a lock-in with the kids on New Year's Eve (I'm not sure what I was thinking...)  I honestly can't remember the last time I stayed up to see in the New Year let alone stayed up all night (thinking it was college for that one).  We had an awesome night with 26 kids.  So excited to see what God is going to do in their lives this year.  We headed home from the lock-in, I repacked, Joe took a nap, and at noon on New Year's day we headed back to Indiana to celebrate Christmas with the Horn side.  I really don't remember much of New Year's Day.  I felt so bad that I was pretty sure that I had gotten the flu.  After 12 hours of sleep, I feel like I truly said "hello" to the New Year on Jan 2.  Here, in no particular order, are few pictures from the last couple of weeks....

Our family Christmas puzzle...ok....so Joe & I got a "little" obsessed with it and the kids didn't get to help much.
