popcorn and Braveheart
We got a big screen TV last week. It's a long story so I won't go into it, but it was a gift (yes, there is no way we would spend my husband's pastor's salary on a big screen) and we are really, really enjoying it. We also got speakers for the surround sound that was wired in our living room when we bought the house last year. Every night we decide which movie will look cooler on the large screen and if there would be cool sounds that could sneak up on us from the back speakers. The last two nights it was Braveheart--not that I really wanted to see the battle scenes like I was there, but the music was pretty awesome. Joe was skyping with his sister after the kids went to bed, so I decided I would be in charge of snacks so I popped us some popcorn and settled in front of the fireplace to finish the movie. We did and went to bed around 10pm. Now popcorn makes me dream. So last night I dreamed all night about an attack hamster. Evidently it was mad at me for stepping on it. This is why I should never check on Fluffy after tucking in the girls, eat popcorn and watch Braveheart on the same night.
